Up for sale is a 2008 Chevy Cobalt SS for parts due to no title and a bad transmission. Car has 76k miles. It was purchased at a salvage auction a few years ago with damage to the driver side door and front fender. At the time I didn’t realize someone had tried to put it though Virginia’s salvage process without replacing the airbag sensors, due to this Virginia took the title, never to be run on the road again. The car does have a ton of usable parts but now the transmission has lost 3rd, 4th and 5th. I’ve had enough with this car and would like to sell it in one piece, if that’s not possible I will part it out. long block was replaced with the updated block due to a broken connecting rod. Motor, clutch, flywheel, axles have about 16k miles on it. Don’t have any receipts but I still have the original blown up motor on the side as proof. Body has 82k Miles, was repainted not the best job. SS ground effects are beat up as someone drove this car slammed prior to my purchase.Also has stance coilovers, brembo brakes in the front, full 3” stainless exhaust, larger intercooler, ZZP tune and K&N intake. I will be keeping the seats but there’s a ton of parts to use/sell. To answer a few questions I got, yes the car does run perfect. It does move around the yard in 1st, 2nd and rev. If you put it in 3rd or higher you get no response when you let the clutch out. The car was run and driven for 9k miles with this motor setup before the trans let go. If I had the proper title paperwork I’d throw a trans in it and be driving it.
